Intro to Stress-Management

This workshop is a great introduction to Mindfulness, Breath Work, and “No Sweat Chair Yoga” as stress management tools for busy professionals. Participants will walk away feeling refreshed and recharged as well as with new research-based techniques to increase their focus while also reducing stress in the workplace.

The 8 Dimensions of Wellbeing

“People often think about wellness in terms of physical health — nutrition, exercise, weight management, etc., but it is so much more…. Wellness encompasses 8 mutually interdependent dimensions: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, existential, vocational, financial, and environmental. Attention must be given to all the dimensions, as neglect of any one over time will adversely affect the others, and ultimately one’s health, well-being, and quality of life (Stoewen 2017).”

Participants will learn more about each of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness as well as complete their own “wheel of life” to self-assess their own wellbeing. This workshop will also provide evidence-based strategies to help individuals build new habits and strategies to increase their wellbeing within each dimension.

Mindful Movement, Ergonomics, & Posture

Most busy professionals impose repetitive, stressful habits on their bodies without even realizing it. Prolonged sitting can compress the low back, and improper ergonomics can strain the neck. Overtime these issues will cause increase burnout, and negatively effect performance. Through learning optimal sitting, standing, and working postures as well as best-practices we can identify and overcome our individual misalignments.

Mindful EQ is an evidence-based training system designed to enhance emotional intelligence for individuals as well as teams and organizations. Mindful EQ synthesizes the latest research in neurosciencemindfulness, and emotional intelligence to deliver impactful trainings in an interactive and engaging manner over the course of a whole year.

Sessions can be offered virtually or in-person (or both- companies can record sessions for employees to watch on their own time too); sessions start with a 1 hour introduction followed by 30 minute monthly (or weekly) modules that also have optional activities that individuals can choose to do on their own.

 

6-Hour Intensive Mindfulness-Based Stress Management Training

In this 6-hour training (offered in 1 day or spread out in different modules) participants will learn:

8 Dimensions of Wellbeing Year Long Program

Learn evidence-based practices to improve each dimension of Wellbeing

The 8 Dimensions of Wellbeing Year Long Program provides companies with a complete, holistic approach for their annual wellness plan. Monthly sessions will focus on different dimensions of wellbeing, and will always provide evidence-based strategies individuals can start using right away.

Participants will self-assess each dimension of wellbeing in order to give a company and individual “wellness scorecard”. Assessments will be used throughout the course to track participants progress as well as measure the entire company’s collective wellbeing.


Coaching

Individual Coaching

Individual coaching is available to provide a personalized approach to learning Mindfulness and other tools and techniques that promote high performance in the workplace. Sessions focus on developing greater emotional intelligence and cultivating resiliency in a personalized approach that is designed exclusively for the individual. Typical coaching sessions begin with an intensive session that includes a personal assessment to discuss goals, setbacks, desired outcomes, and more. Sessions can be held virtually or, in-person.

Customizable Sessions

Individual Sessions

Customizable individual sessions of Mindfulness, Yoga, or topic specific sessions (i.e. “PGA Golfers who practice Mindfulness + Applications to Business”) are available as stand-alone events or can complement other workshops or trainings. Individual sessions can be designed to fit your time restraints and can be great way to start a staff meeting, or as a team building activity. The focus area of these sessions can also be customized (i.e. a 10 minute “Intro to Stress Reduction” to start a large all-staff meeting). Sessions can be offered either in an office-friendly style which doesn’t require a change of clothes, or can be a full-on mat-based or more intensive class.
